Circuit bent 'rainbow' keyboard
Circuit Bending par 'Futuree
Electrode' , website
Description :
This is a circuit bent children's keyboard, one of the smallest I've ever
seen! It's only about 12 inches long and has rainbow-colored keys and a
built-in handle! I bent it myself, the bends I have done are:
Pitch up/down - alters the toy's clock speed to change pitch up or down when
keys are played. The range is from normal sounds through analog-synth
sounds all the way to intermittent clicks.
Body contacts - one produces distortion, the other is a small pitch
bend.

'Super Concert Animal' keyboard
Circuit Bending par Ian Sherwen, Happy Robot Music - Windscale
Description :
this is a circuit bent super concert animal keyboard.
the original toy keyboard has 10 preset sounds (piano, trumpet, and 8 animal
sounds). it also has 4 drum sounds with pads, 8 preset rhythms, 16 preset
songs, volume/tempo controls, and the ability to record your playing.
I have added a high pitch control knob, and a low pitch control knob, both with
crash protection resistors fitted.
there is also a 'droneloop' button with its own threshold control (press the
button while the keyboard is playing and the audio 'locks up' making a drone or
sometimes a loop which then can be affected by the other controls. has
different effects depending on where the threshold control is set. the
'droneloop' button sometimes crashes the keyboard, turn the power off then on
again to resume playing).
I have also added a light dependent resistor with on/off switch. when
this is enabled it pitches the audio down drastically when it receives more
light. you can wave your hand in front of it, shine a torch on to it, or
just wave the keyboard around! it works on the keyboard playing as normal
and on any 'droneloops' that you have enabled.
has internal speaker and a 1/4 inch mono output (for recording or
amplification). all controls are labelled with retro dymo tape.
power from 4 aa batteries.

Circuit bent 'Chad Valley Learning' keyboard
Circuit Bending par Ian Sherwen, Happy Robot Music - Windscale
Description :
This is a battery operated circuit bent chad valley learning keyboard hand bent
by myself.
The unit has 3 controls. pitch upwards, pitch downwards, and best of all
'decimate' (which distorts the sound as you turn it down), and a standard 1/4
inch mono jack output. all the controls are labelled clearly.
Power from 2 'aa' batteries (not included).
The keyboard features 2 preset sounds (best described as a piano and an
organ!).
Using the 3 controls more complex sounds can be teased from this synth like
hoovers, blips, and (my favourite!) noise explosions.

Circuit Bending par avotreservice007
