Circuit bent Roland Tr-505
Circuit Bending par Diabolical
Devices
Description :
Here is a circuit-bent Roland Tr-505 drum machine! Fully patchable via 14
banana jacks on black turret board. It has a built-in theremin / oscillator,
with individual 1/8th inch outputs (including added square wave). The
photo-theremin square wave oscillator can be patched in and there by triggered
by the bent sounds, then can be pitched manually to the kick/snare, interacting
and phase-canceling/ pseudo ring-modding with each other, the results are
very desirable from fat lows to squelchy highs. Or just pitch the
photo-theremin up and play it in a more traditional manner (with a strobe
light). Insane glitched-out rhythms and distorted ring mods. These drum
machines are much more controllable, having an internal sequencer spitting out
the glitches in time with the midi clock, it is far more melodic /
rhythmic. You will not be dissapointed, if you find yourself sending drums to
distortion boxes, ring mods, or bit-reducing software, you will love this
machine. As always, this will operate bent or stock, and comes with patch
cables and detailed instructions.

I have one of these and would like to modify it like this. Do you have any PCB / circuit plans? Thanks. Danke.
