Description :
This is a toy megaphone with various built in effects such as distortion, ring modulation and pitch shift. For samples, go to www.myspace.com/mycasiocatharsis
A friend of mine who bought one of these from me has made a song using only the megaphone and drums. To hear it, go to www.myspace.com/slatecaverns - "kick it"

It has 6 lights mounted in to the speaker that flash in time with the sound. I have added the following modifications:

1. Body contacts. These 2 body contacts effect the sound in a really cool way - they make it fizzle and pop and disintegrate.
2. Feedback button on handle. This switches on the feedback feature, which creates a huge electronic noise that is changed drastically with the body contacts. It pops and crows and bubbles, depending on which effects are used.
3. Feedback dial. This is used to adjust the feedback sound - turned to the right you get a different sound than if you turn it to the left.
4. 1/4 inch jack input. This makes it possible to put anything through the megaphone. Drum machines, keyboards and guitars all sound amazing.
5. 1/4 inch output jack. For plugging the megaphone into an amplifier or PA system.
6. Speaker/output selection switch. For changing between output and speaker.
